It was such a beautiful ceremony.

I cry at every wedding. There's always something. The handwritten vows. The pastor's message. A reading. I can feel my throat closing and the tears stinging my eyes. I've given up trying to stop it, and I've gotten pretty good at hiding it. It happens in a split second. And then it's right back to work.

I certainly wasn't expecting the water works to start again, but Grandpa gave the most touching words of wisdom in the receiving line. It was so sweet to see how much he cares about these two.

The McCall's: Wedding moments

When Jennifer smiles her whole soul grins. When Andy smiles, you might just miss it if you aren't quick enough. When Jen and Andy love, they love with their whole heart.



On Saturday they promised to laugh with each other and love each other for the rest of their lives. A lifetime their pastor likened to a cruise, something these two do every year. His message was so eloquent and so perfect for them. Ending, of course, with God as their captain they will never veer off course.



Jen and Andy, I pray you'll have nothing but calm waters on every adventure in your life together. Thank you so much for letting me be a part of your wedding day. Enjoy!

One of my favorite parts of the wedding is seeing the interaction between father and daughter. I over heard Jen's dad say he only has one daughter and now she's gone... melted my heart.
